A project by Liechtenstein Development Service (LED)
Les Ningunes – Small agroecological enterprises in Bolivia
The project contributes to the transformation of the Bolivian food system towards agroecological consumption. The aim is to raise awareness among the urban population and give them access to affordable, healthy and ecologically produced food. The focus is on instruments and mechanisms that support producers from the poorer peripheral areas of the city in setting up small businesses, networking with consumers and finding a market for their products. In concrete terms, Les Ningunes supports micro enterprises through training and advice on business management and access to start up capital.
Project goals
Small enterprises in the field of agroecological food production improve the efficiency and management of their ecological and social enterprises.
The population of the capital La Paz recognises and appreciates agroecologically produced food.
Special features of the project
The project has two project components. The other one is financed by Misereor. They support seed production by male and female producers and networking between urban and rural areas.
