Global peace work and mediation
How can peace work succeed? In all regions of the world a diversified dialogue is needed to resolve conflicts and give people hope for a better life. The Dialogue Advisory Group (DAG) supports governments, intergovernmental organisations and NGOs in mediating in violent conflicts and helping to create stable societies. The DAG works with a broad network of international institutions, in particular the International Criminal Court in The Hague.
In crisis regions around the Horn of Africa, the African Great Lakes, Libya and Colombia, the non-profit organisation based in Amsterdam is committed to advancing mediation projects. In this mission, the DAG promotes dialogue between governments, armed groups and international organisations in order to reduce violence and, above all, to involve women in peace processes. With its contribution, Liechtenstein enables the DAG to continue its work in critical and often neglected regions of the world that are affected by violent conflicts.
