Sustainability in Liechtenstein

Liechtenstein was involved in the development of the UN 2030 Agenda and has been committed to the global implementation of the SDGs since its adoption in 2015. In spring 2018, an implementation strategy for our country was adopted and specific priorities were defined. Since then, numerous measures have been developed and implemented to realise the SDGs in Liechtenstein.

A large number of them have already been successfully implemented, particularly those related to the SDGs on poverty (SDG 1), hunger (SDG 2), good health and well-being (SDG 3), quality education (SDG 4), clean water and sanitation (SDG 6), decent work and economic growth (SDG 8), and peaceful societies (SDG 16).

International Humanitarian Cooperation and Development, IHCD, is Liechtenstein's main instrument for supporting specific projects worldwide and thus contributing to the global implementation of the 2030 Agenda.
