One priority of the Ministry of Education in the Republic of Moldova is to strengthen and expand dual vocational training. The LED was therefore asked to support the Moldovan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) in expanding its activities in the field of dual vocational education and training.

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry is the most important actor and point of contact for companies in dual VET - the chamber provides information, audits companies and trains incompany trainers and mentors. The LED's financial support strengthens state structures and Moldovan institutions such as the CCI.

At the same time, the trainees are better prepared for working life due to the greater practical component of dual training and consequently trainees have better job opportunities.
